Having experienced first-hand the transformative work that SOS Children’s Villages is doing throughout the world, it is easy to see why Angelina Jolie is an SOS Supporter. As Jolie explains, “SOS offers a family-based village model that provides for the holistic needs of a child — a caring parent, family, community, education and support.”
SOS Children’s Villages (German: SOS-Kinderdorf) is an independent, non-governmental international development organisation which has been working to meet the needs and protect the interests and rights of children since 1949. It was founded by Hermann Gmeiner in Imst, Austria and received the 2002 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize. Read more
