Discover the Lower Saxony Asparagus Road
Out of Germany’s 150 scenic routes, the Lower Saxony Asparagus Route holds a special appeal during asparagus season (late April through June) – a time of year locals and visitors alike look forward to every year.
The 470- mile-long route through Germany’s largest asparagus growing region takes visitors on a gourmet tour featuring many farms and even an asparagus museum. The signposted route runs parallel to the Asparagus Cycling Trail.
