U2 leadsinger Bono’s emergency operation in Germany last month seems to have been successful. He was seen doing well today at the French Riviera, where he is recovering, when he drove himself to a lunch date at the Hotel La Voile d’Or in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
The partial paralysis in his leg he suffered during rehearsals in Munich last month could have become permanent, had the problem not been corrected in the emergency procedure in Munich.
