As Americans are getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July holiday, ‘The Place for all Things German in New York,’ is preparing another fun fundraiser in support of its website www.GermanyinNYC.org.
On Tuesday, July 13 (6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.), the New Loreley in Williamsburg is setting aside its wooden tables and opens a couple of kegs for a ‘Summer Party with Beer Tasting’ for the German-American Community Project.
Like its Lower East Side counterpart modeled after the “Brauhaus” in Köln, Loreley Williamsburg features all the ingredients of a great German summer, orgnaizers promise:
Great atmosphere, great food, and, of course, great German beer!
A wide variety of German beers will be available for testing, along with some light snacks. If you come with a slightly bigger appetite, Loreley has added two specials to their regular menu for that night: grilled pork belly with barbecue sauce served with french fries or a mixed salad, or pan fried chicken served with homemade potato salad. And when you are full and happy, try your luck at our raffle with great selected prizes.
Location:
64 Frost Street (at Meeker Street)
Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY
