On Saturday, April 23 at 2 pm UCLA Live presents a delightful afternoon  of classical music on Royce Hall’s glorious Skinner organ from acclaimed organist Christoph Bull, known for his energizing and often eclectic musical interpretation of organ repertoire. Bull will perform a thrilling and ethereal program of Bach on the UCLA campus treasure, which is known as one of the country’s great musical devices of its kind.

Christoph has been called “the Tiger Woods of the organ”, “rock star organist”, and “the most versatile musician on the planet”.  He plays classical music with a rock musician’s sense of rhythm and a jazz musician’s sense of improvisation. Most recently, he inaugurated the new organ series of Pacific Symphony and Villa Aurora, and finished the premiere recording of the pipe organ at Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown L.A.
