The Goethe Institut in Washington D.C. presents an exhibition of photographs by Adam Wolfer from May 5 to June 3, 2011.

It is a photographic investigation into the unique relationship between photographer Adam Golfer, the Jewish grandson of Holocaust survivors, and Germany as a people and culture.

The photographs focus on the German youth of Golfer’s generation and the shifting face of the landscape, both representing an ever-changing idea of what Germany is in the 21st century.
