New Taschen store in Miami

There are some who say that TASCHEN publishes the most exquisite books on the planet. Certainly, since 2001 we have strived to create exquisite TASCHEN Stores in our planet’s most vibrant and exciting cities. Our aim has always been to provide our customers with elegant and inspirational surroundings in which to explore our books. And so, following Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Brussels, Berlin, Hamburg and Copenhagen, we knew our next stop must be the gateway to all things sunny and paradisial, Miami Beach.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our newest and warmest location, the TASCHEN Store Miami. Located in the heart of South Beach on Lincoln Road, the TASCHEN Store Miami is one of only thirteen high-end storefronts located in a brand new building designed by Swiss architect’s Herzog & de Meuron. Like all TASCHEN Stores, the Miami space was conceived by legendary French designer Philippe Starck. We also commissioned British artist Toby Ziegler to create both a dazzling series of floor-to-ceiling murals and an elaborately patterned hand-poured terrazzo floor made entirely of stones indigenous to south Florida.

The TASCHEN Store Miami will be open from 11am – 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and from 11am – 11pm Fridays and Saturdays. The space will carry the full range of TASCHEN titles from contemporary and classic art, photography, design, architecture, sex, travel, cinema and pop culture, as well as a selection of our Spanish and Portuguese language titles.
