Australian actor Russell Crowe tweeted: “Unable to answer tweets fell off a mountain in Austria,all over red rover. Don’t know how i got there, but the media are never wrong.G’Bye.”
The internet rumor that the star fell 50 feet from a mountain in the hip skiing town of Kitzbühel, Austria, was created on a radio show spread like wildfire and even became a trending Google topic. Until it was laid to rest by legitimate media like Time Magazine, which in turn put Crowe on their list of celebrity death hoaxes.
As readers we should all remember to not be easily let, that he just died and then tweeted is about as plausible as last years rumor, that he liked to knit, yes, Russell Crowe likes knitting, seriously? Crazy what daubers come up with just to get into the news.
