 Bothersome Similar Words

Some American students stumble over the differences between its and it’s and to, too, and two. The  „Test Your German“ feature of this month looks at similar tricky words that sometimes prove difficult for students of German:

wenn (2 meanings), wann, als, ob

Freund, Freunde, Freunden, Freundin, Freundinnen

weil, seitdem, da, seit, denn

an, auf

 

Print this page and place each of the above 17 words correctly into the 17 blanks below.
